Alpha Effect is a multistage exfoliation system based on three serums and a mask that allows aestheticians to demonstrate their competency and tailor application to suit their clients’ individual needs. The serums use a 2% level of liposome-encapsulated malic acid and a gradually increasing level of an AHA complex while the mask contains a 6 % cocktail of liposome-encapsulated AHAs.

Fruit acids, also known as AHAs (Alpha-Hydroxy Acids), work by unlinking the glue-like lipids holding surface skin cells together. As the glue dissolves, old, dry cells flake off, revealing noticeably smoother, more refined skin beneath. AHAs also offer anti-bacterial properties that are helpful for reducing impurities and scarring, fade pigmentation and stimulate skin’s natural regeneration process.

The products available include

Alpha Effect - Peel Index 20

A serum with 5% AHAs, including citric, lactic & malic acids, and a pH of 4. Gently exfoliates, leaving the skin feeling smooth and fresh. Also suitable for sensitive skin.

Alpha Effect – Peel Index 40

This serum, which has a fruit acid concentration of 10% (citric, lactic, malic & glycolic acids) and a pH of 4, provides intense exfoliation to deliver smooth, even looking skin.

Alpha Effect – Peel Index 60

A highly effective exfoliating serum to help with the appearance of pronounced lines, reduce large pores and fade pigmentation. Combines 20% AHA (citric, lactic, malic, glycolic & tartaric acids) with a pH of 3.
